Roomie's B-day

I got called on in class this morning and hadn't adequately prepared but I BSed it just fine. So tired right now. I went to an Impact mixer at 6 to volunteer to help with poll monitoring during the presidential election. I went to a dessert event with the Journal of Gener and Law at 8 and somewhere in the middle grabbed some dinner. The cakes at the dessert event weren't bad and I signed up to work on the journal 'cause it's not like I'm busy or anything (smell the sarcasm). After that I went to a bar on the upper east side for one of my roommates' birthday. It was a pain to get there; took about an hour each way. Had to take the 1/9 down to times square, transfer to the 7 to grand central station, then take the 4/5/6 up again on the other side of central park. Everyone was playing beer pong. I just ordered a vodka tonic. Didn't really know anyone. They were all 3Ls. Went home early, around 12:30. Course it took me until 1:30 to get back. It's really lonely to be surrounded by people having a good time when you don't have friends of your own. Almost worse than just being alone. I miss Davis.
