1st Day of Orientation

Not too exciting today. Brunch at 11 after dragging my sorry carcass out of bed. Then a tour of the university. Then four hours of sitting through speakers...the dean, a faculty panel, the financial aid people, a student panel...maybe it was 5 or 6 hours. Somewhere in there I got a free pizza dinner, but the pizza was nasty. Also I highly doubt that my new diet of pizza and beer will be good for my girlish figure. I came home and sorted through the junk I picked up throughout the day rather than go to the games night. After that it was off to the bar for a guy's birthday. We went to Jake's Dilemma. Not very happening on a Tuesday night. One of the girls got her purse stolen in the bar. Oh, and another guy got robbed at gunpoint last night. Safe neighborhood. Riiiiiiiiiiight....
