Coney Island

A bunch of us went out to Coney Island today, but just as we got there it started raining. The freak show was closed, as were all the rides, so we just waited in an arcade until it was dry enough to make the run back to the subway. On the way back we stopped at target and I picked up some necessities (like a fan) and it was a little tricky dragging everything back through a crowded, rush-hour subway. We made it though. It's been hot and sticky these last couple days. Humidity around 90%. Not pleasant. Makes me miss nice dry California. Oh well. Played and lost at some more poker when we got back, then chilled briefly with the roommates. Cleaning up is still under negotiation. I need to get into school mode again soon. Getting a little nervous about that. Guess I should make the most of the little time I have left though. Maybe I'll be responsible tomorrow....
