Studying Law

The thing that really shocks me about the study of law is how straight forward and simple it is. Admittedly we get a large reading load and the material is dense. But the legal reasoning and the decisions of judges are prety much in plain English. This is nowhere near as challenging as science where the actual concepts are difficult to grasp. In legal reading you can get most of the message just skimming. Try skimming a chemistry book...not useful.
