BBQ on the Upper West Side

Woke up and went to a BBQ at 2. It was good. Lotsa food, chill people, little talk about law. Stayed for about two hours then went home to get work done. Skimmed torts and civ pro because I had no motivation to read closely or brief cases. Just too much volume right now. I had to take a few power naps just to stay even minimally focussed. I ended up doing most of my work in the Drapkin lounge to put sufficient distance between myself and my bed. I did my reading for the Journal of Gender and Law too, very dissappointing article on sodomy law, not up to par as far as writing quality. More like a really long undergrad paper. Still so much work to do. Busy week ahead.
