End of the Argument
Late start this morning involved gym clothes and rushing to class. Hair was a mess. Not that I really care in the morning. Went to the gym after perspectives. Got lots of weird looks walking around in the snow in shorts. I'm a freak, what can I say? Didn't have much time due to an exciting lunch lecture so I just did 20 minutes on the rowing machine and some hurried weights. Hurried home to take a shower before lunch but my roomate got in the shower just as i was heading for the bathroom. Punk. Waited 20 minutes but he didn't come out. Had to go to lunch nasty from the gym. And the food was all gone 'cause I got held up so long waiting. >< Very cross. It was a political panel including: former presidential advisor to JFK, Ted Sorenson; forrmer NY Mayor David Dinkins; Former Congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman; Councilman David Yassky; and NY State AG candidate Charlie King. Good panel but torture to have to smell all the pizza with nothing to eat. Kind of annoying that people took way more pizza and cookies than they could eat and threw away the excess. That could have gone to hungry people in the back. So selfish. I went up afterwards and got a few business cards but I was rather embarrassed to talk to the ex-politicians while wearing sweats and all. Went home and got cleaned up. Had Indian for lunch since it was the only food left in my cupboard. Read my conlaw both for last friday and today. It was pretty short. Did the whole class thing and met with my moot court editor after. She was running late but we didn't have much to talk about anyway. Wachtell cancelled their reception due to inclement weather. Lame of them. That was my dinner plan. No food left. Came home and tried to find someone to get pizza with. No one wanted to go out in the blizzard. Finally found someone. Gorged at Koronets and shmoozed. Hit the liquor store on the way home 'cause he needed margarita mix. Visited some friends in Lenest on the way back too to retrieve his tequila stash. I went home and rather than work played 2 hours of poker. Need to work on self control. IM took up a lot of time too. Finally got caffeinated a bit on snapple and did my moot court. All done with it now I think. Time for bed soon.
