Gym and Cite Checking
Woke up at the usual time but the bathroom was occupied. By the time it was free there was no possibility of being on time and also getting a shower. For once I chose crim law over hygiene. Lucky choice. Turns out it was my day to be on call. Getting to class early gave me just enough time to find a friend to bail me out with an outline of the days cases. It saved my butt. I don't think the prof could tell I haven't read or been to class in some time. I was in shorts and a T-shirt already so I went to the gym after class. Pretty wimpy workout. Not getting to the gym ever really causes some physical deterioration. Went to lunch with Torys. Standard affair. They won't hire me. Maybe I'll drop them a letter and beg anyway. Reg state was the usual drag and unfortunately con law wasn't doing it for me either today. I probly should have gotten more sleep. Played some online poker in the afternoon until Sullivan & Cromwell's cocktail party at Le Monde. Nothing special. Had a couple drinks and some food then went to my JGL articles meeting. Cite checked statutes with the team for half an hour then went to the library to go through law reviews for another 2 hours. Got home tired. Played more poker and IMed. Got asked out by a girl that I really like as a friend but could never really go out with due to religious differences. Felt terrible turning her down. She seemed hurt but I really hope we can still be friends. If she ends up hating me things could be very messy. Too bad it had to happen this way. Tomorrow will be very long, I better crash.
