  LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene, and MacRae

Fun times. Went to crim late this morning. It was raining but I went in shorts anyway. Nothing interesting anyway. Hit the gym and rowed 20 minutes and did abs. It was snowing pretty hard, but I didn't feel cold in shorts. Got cleaned up, suited up, and went to lunch with JLSA. There was kosher falafel and a speaker on legal methods being employed in securing holocaust reparations from Poland. Interesting talk. Did my con law reading after lunch and attended the class. Then had an interview with Microsoft's Redmond, Washington office. I think it went pretty well. Did some work for Journal of Gender and Law in the afternoon to be ready for the meeting in the evening. At 6 there was a moot court oral arguments workshop. Stayed through half. Then left with a friend for V&T's for a reception with LeBoeuf. It was pretty nasty outside. In the 20's and high winds. The pavement was all frozen over. The attendance at the reception was dismally low, but they bought us dinner, pizza and salad, and drinks of course. I got started on scotch and then split a bottle of wine with my friend. It was a a sparkling dry Italian wine. Tasty. I was running late for Journal and about to leave but then they started ordering us dessert. What was I to do? I called two friends on Journal and asked them to deliver my comments for me. The firm bought two of everything on the menu. And I got cappacino. I ate some of the strawberry covered cheesecake, some of the chocolate/vanilla stripe cheesecake, some of the tiramisu, and a canoli. The cheesecakes were ok, the tiramisu was nothing special, but the canoli was great. I brought my roomate a piece of the striped cheesecake and i took a canoli that will go to whomever sews two buttons for me. Went to JGL but got held up by the wind. It was ferocious. Nearly blew my scarf away. VERY cold. In the teens even without the ridiculous windchill. I ran into a journal member on the way walking the opposite direction. The meeting ended early. Offered her a dessert but she declined. Went home since there was no sense in trudging a few more blocks to a meeting that was over.
Comments:
Hey man, you're a 1L, right? How did you get on a journal? That's pretty awesome that you pulled that off.

Curious? Then read on. If not go watch TV or find some other way to rot your brain :-P
